What works today

  • A lesson is audio. You can listen in the background and with your phone locked, and pause or skip from the lock screen and from your headphones. When a lesson ends, the next one starts by itself.
  • Player buttons and the seek bar in the app have names for screen readers.
  • You can use the website with a keyboard: focus is visible on buttons and links, menus and windows open from the keyboard and close with Escape, and a price change in your order is read out by a screen reader.
02

What is still limited

  • Practice after a lesson (words, grammar, speaking) is done on the screen.
  • We are improving VoiceOver and TalkBack support in the app. For now, some messages, such as “correct” or “wrong” in practice, may not be read out on iPhone, and foreign phrases may be read in the interface language’s voice.
