Data we collect
- Account: email, name, and sign-in method.
- Personalization intake: goals, interests, city, profession, and other text used to assemble your lessons.
- Progress: completed lessons and practice results.
- Payments: processed by Lemon Squeezy; we do not store card details.
How intake data is used
Intake text is sent to generation models only to assemble your lessons. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or add it to third-party model training datasets. Processors include OpenAI and Google Gemini, Lemon Squeezy, Resend, Neon, Cloudflare R2, and Vercel. International transfers use applicable DPAs and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Pronunciation recordings
Recordings made in pronunciation practice are processed for comparison and kept no longer than necessary to show the result. They are removed with other account data within 30 days after account deletion.
Retention
Active-account data is kept while you use the product. After account deletion, it is erased within 30 days. Receipts and tax records are retained for 10 years under Italian law.
Your rights
You can export your data, edit the intake, or delete the account and its data in settings or by emailing hello@persolingua.com. You may complain to the Italian Garante or your local data-protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
Vercel Analytics collects cookie-free aggregate traffic data and always runs. Google Analytics starts only after consent. Basic Sentry error monitoring is technically necessary; session replay after an error starts only with consent.
